Vakseen has been an active realist painter since coming to Los Angeles in 2011. While working on successful albums as a music executive-producer has been a driving factor in his career, he has also been an active realist painter since relocating to Los Angeles in 2011.
His work has been shown at the Ontario Museum of History and Art, Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art, Brownsville Museum of Fine Art, Spectrum Miami/Art Basel, Adidas, Vans, BBC World News, HBO’s Insecure, Thinkspace Projects, Flinders Lane Gallery, Zhou B Art Center, Julien’s Auctions, Gallery 1988, the University of California Los Angeles, the city of Los Angeles, and Soho House London, among others.
