Is a visual artist from Kigali, Rwanda. MDD uses pre-colonial, colonial, modern, and futuristic timeframes to explore the intersectionality of black identity and reflect on black culture. In order to produce Afro futuristic works that encapsulate history, culture, technology, and humanity all at once, MDD draws on a variety of sources, particularly archives.
