Moyosore Briggs

Moyosore Briggs was born in the Nigerian city of Lagos. She recently received her Bachelor of Arts in Photography from the University of the Arts London.

Writing and publishing are part of Moyosore’s creative practice. She’s contributed to a number of magazines as well as self-publishing her own written and photography work.

She attempts to uncover the beauty in the bad image in her photography.

The convergence of the self, individualism, fashion, and sexuality is the subject of Moyosore’s current work, which includes self-portraiture, fashion event photography, and writing.

She addresses these topics in regard to herself and the people around her using imagery that is both profoundly dark and brilliant and full of colour.
