Detailed Information
Bonito Thompson, also known as Don Dada, is a digital artist from Jamaica. He has been working on a project to bring the first example of augmented reality art to Jamaica. Although augmented reality art has been displayed in international museums and galleries for a few years, Jamaica has not yet experienced anything like this.
Augmented reality art has a wide range of applications beyond the pandemic, as it allows artists and art groups to reach a global audience of art enthusiasts who may not be able to visit physical galleries or museums. Â Each piece of art has a unique QR code that makes it easy to view the digital item in the real world.
